It was so terrifying and so enormous for it

take hurricanes lightly. I’m also certain

Restraining Orders: What it can do for
you
In the past couple of weeks, I have
discussed two types of restraining orders
i.e. a stay-away order and a restraint on
personal conduct. Both of these restraining
orders are judicial orders (granted by a
judge or commissioner) preventing a person
from doing certain things to a "protected
person." Usually, this means that the person
must stay 100 yards away from the protected
person and not do certain actions toward the
protected person such as molesting,
attacking, striking, threatening, sexually
assaulting, or otherwise disturbing the
peace of the other party and any person
under the care, custody, and control of that
party. Because they are judicial orders, a
person must go to court in order to obtain
these protections.

Negative consequences of bankruptcy
filing
Individuals contemplating a bankruptcy
filing often are anxious to know about the
negative effects or consequences of
bankruptcy filing. Many want to know how
their credit will be affected and how early
they can establish a good credit history. In
most situations a bankruptcy filing does not
adversely affect an individual’s credit
rating. This is due to the fact that
individuals who file for bankruptcy relief
are usually delinquent on their credit card
and other debt payments, and such
delinquency reflects negatively on person’s
credit rating.

Creditors can object to discharge
Creditors have sixty days from the date of
the 341 hearing to object to the discharge
of their particular claim. When a creditor
objects to the discharge of their claim, he
files a complaint in the Bankruptcy court
stating essentially that there is legal
ground that allows the creditor to exempt
his claim from the discharge order. In other
words, the claim should be allowed to remain
valid and collectible even if debtor obtains
a chapter 7 or chapter 13 discharge. The
procedure is adversarial and debtor needs to
file an answer explaining why the claim
should be discharged. At trial, the only
issue is whether the claim should be
discharged or not.
